Audio to digital format conversion (MP3 or WAV)
- We transfer recordings from 1/4″ audio tapes. For these tapes, we can play back recordings made in mono or stereo, at 3 different tape speeds: 1-7/8, 3-3/4, 7-1/2.
- We also transfer recordings from C60 and C90 cassettes.
- All conversions are "Normalized". This means we boost the sound to 0dB. If the sound is low on the original recording, it will be louder on the converted file. For those who want a more professional solution, we can process the file further. See hourly rate at the bottom of the page.

What does it cost?
- NOK 15 per minute for converting analog audio to MP3 format.
- NOK 295 startup fee per job.

Payment
You will receive an invoice by email or in your online bank when we have completed the job. Once we have registered the payment, you will receive a link by email, giving you access to the files. The standard is one file per side. If you are to receive the files on a USB stick or CD, they will be sent to you once we have registered the payment.

600 feet gives approx. 32 min. at 3 ¾ per side
800 feet gives approx. 43 min. at 3 ¾ per side
1200 feet gives approx. 64 min. at 3 ¾ per side
1600 feet gives approx. 85 min. at 3 ¾ per side
1800 feet gives approx. 96 min. at 3 ¾ per side
